The garden has been planted!

With the hope that Jack Frost is on vacation until the fall, we have planted our small vegetable garden today.

We transplanted cherry tomatoes and hot peppers that we started from seed. We planted seeds for beets, scarlet runner beans, winter squash, carrots and several herbs.

Anna was a great help in the garden all weekend.

It was a great day for planting. Let's hope that we can feed ourselves out of this garden and not just the neighborhood gophers!

Happy Mother's Day!

We made Alana a double-layer chocolate cake this year for Mother's Day. Yummy!


Nothing like smarties and sprinkles for decorations!
